American Association of Nurse Practitioners to Launch January 1, 2013

On January 1, 2013, the combined organizations of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) will debut as American Association of Nurse Practitioners – and the “new” AANP will be officially launched!
The new association will bring renewed strength, unity and focus as we continue to advocate for the nurse practitioner role.
What happens next? In early January, current ACNP members will receive an email from AANP with information about AANP membership. As a member-focused organization, AANP works to provide benefits to match the needs of our members. Please take a few minutes and visit aanp.org to learn about the many products and services available to AANP members.
It is an exciting time to be an NP and to be part of this unified community of expert health care providers.
