BREAKING NEWS: HB 423 passes 2nd reading. Renamed Barbara Lumpkin Bill

During todays House Session, Rep. Cary Pigman's HB423 authorizing NPs to prescribe controlled substances passed through the house for it's 2nd reading and now advances for it's 3rd reading. 

During the reading of the bill, Rep. Pigman added an amendment to rename the bill "The Barbara Lumpkin Bill". This passed the house unanimously and Barbara recieved a standing ovation.
