FNPN Making News Happen!

News media coverage with Associated Press, Local Newspaper groups and several local Radio Stations have picked up on our 15 year struggle to gain authority to have full prescriptive rights to care appropriately for patients who need this special class of medications! Why is Florida continuing to block NPs from providing the best care for our citizens? It's a CHANGE that needs to happen. Two Florida Legislative ordered studies have been done to date (1999 and 2008) that support our position. 48 other states have long since passed legislation, leaving Florida behind in creating solutions that enable all caring providers to fix our own health care problems!
