Breaking News! HB 607 Passes Overwhelmingly Out of First Committee

On Wednesday,  December 11th Doreen Cassarino FNPN First VP Legislative Affairs, and Kathleen Wilson Region 1 Director, as well as FNPN Member Julia Pallentino attended the House Health Quality Subcommittee in support of HB 607 Advanced Practice Registered Nurses as it passed out of its first committee of reference.  Only one member voted No. This bill will allow APRNs to practice to the full extent of education and training.  While in Tallahassee Dr. Cassarino also met with Allison Carvajal FNPN Lobbyist, Representative Cary Pigman MD and Martha DeCastro VP Nursing and Clinical Care Policy Florida Hospital Association.
