Project Title "Current Clinical Practices in Bioidentical Hormone Therapy". School: USF. DNP Project. Expected completion, July 2013.
Understanding how providers prescribe and monitor women on bioidentical hormone therapy is critical when caring for women with symptoms of menopause. You are being asked to participate in this research because you are a provider of women on hormone therapy. This survey, Current Clinical Practices in Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, fulfills the University of South Florida College of Nursing DNP graduation requirements. If you take part in this survey, you will be asked to provide information regarding your familiarity with, and prescribing and monitoring practices related to bioidentical hormone therapy. The expected duration of participation is 10-20 minutes. You will not be paid for your time; however your name will be entered into a drawing for one of three $100 gift cards. The survey will be conducted entirely online. IRB approval from the University of South Florida has been obtained (Project #00011710).
