FNPN is pleased to announce that Mr. MARK A. FONSECA, MSN, APRN, AGCNP – BC, Assistant Director of Simulation Teaching and Research (STAR) Center and Clinical Instructor at Florida International University in the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Miami has been appointed as the FNPN PAC Chair and will assume duties this month. Mark proceeds Dr. Diane John who has served in this role with distinction over the past year as a strong leader and program administrator. We are grateful to Dr. John for all her efforts to develop a larger Board of Directors covering all FNPN Regions and instituting new policy & procedures to enable the PAC to grow. Mark is a leader in his own right in Miami as the Miami - Dade NP Council President and is a strong advocate for our NP role. You will often find him at the annual AANP Health Policy Conference IN DC or in the legislative offices of the Miami delegation. He really lives the moto he posts:
