Dr. Loretta Ford Receives US Surgeon General's Medallion for her 100th Birthday! Video Presentation

On 12/27/2020, FNPN celebrated Dr. Ford's 100th Birthday at her home in Wildwood, Florida with Dr. Sophia Thomas, President of AANP who presented the US Surgeon General's Medallion to honor her for her Lifetime Achievements in transforming nursing and healthcare. VADM Jerome Adams, MD, MPH and his Chief of Staff, Joel Dulaigh, APRN filmed this presentation and we are happy to share this video from AANP. We are so proud that Dr. Ford, our honorary lifetime member, and friend to all NPs, received this prestigious award during our celebration. FNPN President and South Florida AANP Rep, Doreen Cassation Region 11 Director and Kathlee Wilson North Florida State Rep participated in the event as well as some board members, guests and neighbors.
