FNPN 2022 Legislative Report #9- January 28, 2022

THIS WEEK IN REVIEW:

The third week of the 2022 Legislative Session is finished and the Capitol is full of lobbyists, visitors and groups again after being closed out of last year’s Session due to COVID. Subcommittee meetings are in full swing and only have two weeks left to meet with some wrapping up next week. Appropriations bills are moving through in large 100 plus consent agendas and local bills are starting to make it through as well. Along with the usual general legislation being discussed, the overarching topic is redistricting and how it will affect the look of the Legislature next week.
