The Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP) announced the new 2023 class. Our FNP President, Dr. Deborah Tedesco, from Apopka; Dr. Charrita Ernewein, our FNP Region 3 Director from Valrico, Dr. Karen Williams from Pensacola and Dr. Patricia Larrieu-Jimenez from Coral Gables will be inducted at the annual conference induction in New Orleans in June. There are more than 355,000 nurse practitioners (NPs) licensed in the U.S and there are now 973 Fellows (under 3 % of the total). AANP Fellows are regarded as the top leadership in policy, practice, education and research for nurse practitioners. This now brings our state total to 88 who are Florida Fellows.
Congratulations to our new Fellows! FNP board and leadership are well represented in the Fellows who continue to serve our state, nation, and international nursing interests which all benefits our FNP members! Interested in AANP fellows? Just ask us about the process!
