Correction on clarification of new grads clinical hours for autonomous practice

The statute was revisited this morning and the BON is in agreement that the clinical hours leading to the APRN education may be counted towards the 3000 hours for autonomous practice, but the graduate still must have the additional hours under protocol with a supervising physician. For example if the program required 720 clinical hours of practice then the graduate still needs to have an additional 2280 hours under physician supervision with a protocol.
