A Research Study on Preceptorship: Please Participate!
Posted about 18 hours ago by Jean Aertker
Dear FNPN MEMBERS,
We hope you can take time to help our colleagues by completing this brief survey on preceptorship! Thank you, FNPN
My name is Mary Ellen Roberts. I am the principal investigator for a study on nurse practitioners and the benefits and barriers to precepting nurse practitioner students. My colleagues and I are studying certified nurse practitioners and the characteristics and factors associated with the preceptor role. The study would require participants to complete a one-time survey. This survey gives insight into the role of the preceptor and can assist in preparing for future nurse practitioner students. With ways to promote the preceptor role and develop programs and incentives to encourage nurse practitioners to precept students.
