Dear Senator Garcia:

SB 1750: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners bill is important to Floridians and I respectfully request this bill be added to the Senate Health Regulation Committee agenda as soon as possible. This bill addresses a long time deficiency and problem that restricts ARNP's from initiating involuntary examinations under the Baker Act for persons believed to have mental illness. ARNP's are educated and prepared to make these critical decisions and have been obstructed in their ability to provide full health care to those in need.
