Urgent Action Needed! Baker Act Bill Stuck in Senate Budget Committee

Dear Colleagues, 

SB 1750 Baker Act bill Stuck in Senate Budget Committee. As you know, this bill will allow NPs and PAs to sign a certificate of involuntary examination for suicidal or homicidal patients. 

SB 1750 is stuck in committee waiting for Senate President Haridopolis to sign the green card for it to be pulled from the committee and voted on the floor. Once Sen. Haridopolis signs it then Sen. Thrasher must sign it as well. We need your urgent action. Session ends on Friday. It is not too late to get this bill passed!

Please email and call Senate President Sen. Haridopolis? office to ask him to sign the green card for SB 1750 so that it can be pulled from the Senate budget committee
