FNPN Press Conference for Kim Kendall Makes Jax News!

Nurse practitioners gathered in Saint Augustine Sunday to deliver our message to the public that we SUPPORT KIM KENDALL for House Representative District 17. With TV cameras rolling, VP/Legislative Chair Dr. Deb Friedrich told the crowd why ARNPs support Kim- who understands that if barriers to our practice were removed, our state would've save $339 MILLION A YEAR! 

AANP State Representative, Gail Sadler also spoke about our national initiatives and the IOM report. 2VP Dr. Jean Aertker spoke of the 18 years of being blocked and ignored by legislators who refuse to act on thier own senate and special commissioned studies that support ARNP scope of practice. Several local NPs spoke about thier frustration of not being able to take care of the patients effectively due to these barriers.

So what can YOU do now? We are Calling for all Republican voters in District 17 - Jax/St.Augustine/Ponte Verde to get out and vote for Kim on August 14. Remember this is a closed primary, so only registered republicans can vote for the candidates.  EARLY voting begins on Friday August 3. Call your family, friends and acquaintances to get them out to vote in St. Johns County. Let's win this one for all Floridians!
