Dear FNPN Colleagues: Please read!
250, 000 votes, the number of licensed Registered Nurses in Florida and it is a powerful force in any election! This does not take into account family members, retired nurses and friends and supporters of nursing who can stand and vote with us! Nurses are the most trusted profession says the Gallop poll year after year, so take that responsibilty and get out and vote on TUESDAY in the Primary Election!
"We Care We Vote" is our combined nursing organization campaign effort this election year. Our messages must be heard and the only way to do that is if YOU VOTE!
13,500 ARNPs in Florida can surely make a huge difference! Stop on Tuesday and Vote if you havenot done so already! Look at your prelimary ballot, know the candidates! Call them and talk to them!
OK, its just a "PRIMARY ELECTION" on 8/14/12 -THIS TUESDAY, but this election is vital! Winners on Tuesday will be elected in some local races as they have no party oppostition. Others will go on to the run off in the general election in November.
One Big Race to watch is Kim Kendall District 17 in Jacsksonville, St Johns County up against a DO, "Doc" Renuart. Kim supports NPs and we support her in this closed Republican Primary election. "Doc" has a huge money war chest and Kim is true grassroots effort and SHE NEEDS US TO SUPPORT HER NOW. Call you friends, family and colleagues and ask them to VOTE on TUESDAY. Call into the radio stations, call the newspapers, tell folks Kim needs thier vote!
If you do not vote on Tuesday, for whatever reason, know well that one vote can very often win a race. FOLKS WE NEED YOU TO VOTE!!!!
