Upcoming Ebola Preparedness Calls

1. On Friday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. -12:15 p.m. ET, the American Hospital Association is hosting a call with experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to discuss the agency's Ebola screening criteria; infection control protocols; the level of PPE needed to ensure worker safety and proper procedures for putting on and removing PPE; health care worker safety; and proper disposal of medical waste, among other issues. 2. On Monday, Oct, 20 from 1-2 p.m. ET, officials from CDC, the Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), CDC, and HHS Intergovernmental and External Affairs will host an Ebola preparedness call for hospitals and health systems.
