2015 Legislative Session to Begin

Dear FNPN Legislative Members: It's coming! Get Ready! You can find the list of summarized hot bills for NPs on our legislative page.  You really have to see some of these and be ready to call, write or visit legislators-we will make the alerts when advised by our lobbyist Allison Carvajal–committees are meeting now and moving some of the bills-especially Telehealth-we are there! The Florida Legislature will begin its 60 day annual Regular Session of passing new laws and regulations on March 3, 2015 and Adjournment Sine Die on May 1, 2015. Currently over 502 bills have been filed (today - 1/22/15) and more to come. These can all be read on our website legislative page.  FNPN supports the call to Tallahassee and encourages all to join in the FNA Advocacy Days scheduled for March 24-25 in Tallahassee.
