Hello Fellow Nurse Practitioners!
Jean Aertker and Jeff Hazzard here. Coordinators of the “Rally in Tally” NP Gathering in Tallahassee on March 24, 2010. Will you Join us? We need as many NPs on the ground in Tallahassee this date so all know we are tired of hearing no to our bills.
HB 677 and SB 188 are filed, but we need this push to make the legislators hear us loud and clear. Thanks to Senator Bennett and Representative Zapata for once again supporting our profession and filing the bill.
This one day show of support will bring pubic recognition to our efforts to improve access to health care. We are writing to you today because this new massive effort is just 43 days from launching and we need your help.
Sign up for the Rally on the FNPN website www.fnpn.org. Let us know you are coming by submitting your registration. Grab some fellow NPs and drive together. If you don’t want to drive, we are leasing buses for the trip to depart from Tampa, Sarasota, Bradenton and if more registrations we can set up this in other cities. It will be a very early departure, arrive in Tallahassee by noon and gather at the capitol to rally. You will have time to stop by and meet your legislators. Call now and set up an appointment now.
A high noon rally (actually 12:30PM) will gather as many NPs and supporters to Waller Park that we have reserved. Box lunches will be available for cost - bus riders this is included in your trip price.
