Is your Florida ARNP and/or RN License Renewal Due April 30, 2010?

Posted almost 14 years ago by Jean Aertker

Did you Remember to RENEW yet? Current licenses will expire at midnight, Eastern Time, on April 30, 2010.

Florida MQA is requesting your assistance in reaching out to the Registered Nurses who have not yet renewed their licenses. Although glossy white postcards with instructions were sent out for renewing 90 days prior to renewal expiration date, only 49 percent have renewed!! Note this process of renewing a license may take two (2) to three (3) weeks. You are in one of 3 groups staggered for renewal: April 30, 2010, or July 31, 2010 or April 30, 2011 - and the license is effective for 2 yrs only. Pull our your card and take a look!

We are strongly encouraging licensees to renew as soon as possible to ensure that their renewals are processed before the April 30, 2010 midnight deadline. Don't Forget to check your CE hours too! ARNP's are not permitted to practice without proof of current licensure.

Renewing online is as simple as going to:

www.FLHealthsource.com

Clicking on the "Renew My License" button on the homepage, and following the instructions.
