Alert: FNPN Is asking all NPs to take Immediate action now to pass HB 607 sponsored by Rep Pigman titled: Health Care Practitioners. Your local effort is so critical and we need your help this session by writing letters & emails to your Florida Senators and Senate President Bill Galvano for thier support of HB 607. Tweet and add FaceBook alerts to ask colleagues, family, & friends to do the same! Do contact local radio, TV, or print media outlets to deliver your message to remove statutory requirements for APRNs and remove physician supervision and written protocols for our practice.

This was passed in the State of MN in 2014. Since then there are many NP's practicing independently providing greater health care access in underserved communities.
This legislation is a win win for all.

Per my personal experience and by close observations of peers/co-workers that I have worked with, NP's deliver excellent care to all patients, and are a great asset to the health care system. It is my professional belief that statutory requirement for APRN's should be removed; in addition, to removal of physician supervision when appropriate and written protocols for our practice. HB 607 - Health Care Practitioners should be passed.
