Florida Health continues to send out updates on the incidence, surveillance, detection, treatment and prevention regarding the coronavirus outbreak. FNPN urges all to keep up to date on the alerts, to be ever vigilant with hand washing, use PPE properly and follow guidelines for referral of patients. Reassure patients as you educate! The current projections for its expansion in the US demonstrate the spread and worldwide various methods to control the virus. We are in this battle together. The best precaution is WASH HANDS and teaches others to do the same, avoid face, nose and mouth transfer from hands and contaminated surfaces. Masks used for those with symptoms. Be rigid in your infection control procedures!

Thanks for the ongoing updates. We need to educate people, especially those that downplay its incidence. I strongly agree that washing hands is the best precaution, as well as staying home when ill.
We still need to be vigilant.
