State Health Exchanges Enrollment begins October 1, 2013

It's been 3 1/2 years since the President signed this comprehensive health reform, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), into law. As the law is implemented, AANP is working closely with various government agencies and Congress to ensure NPs are a part of this effort.  On October 1, 2013 the state insurance exchanges will open. 

AANP has also provided on their website many resources for both providers and consumers to inform you and your patients of the law and how it is currently being implemented. Stay tuned to this process and do voice your concerns or comments, your patients (friends and family) need you to be in the know!
