FNPN President speaks at Florida Chamber of Commerce Capital Days Conference

Dr. Janet DuBois,  president of FNPN, was invited by the Florida Chamber of Commerce to be on their healthcare panel discussion "PRESCRIPTION FOR A CURE: SMARTER HEALTHCARE COVERAGE IN FLORIDA" at their annual Capital Days Conference. The conference is held annually in Tallahassee to coincide with the beginning of the legislative session. Dr. DuBois discussed the lack of access to care for Florida citizens related to the barriers advanced registered nurse practitioners face in the state. In addition, she presented data on the possible cost savings across the healthcare system the state could realize based on the 2010 OPPAGA Report. She asked the attendees to support our bills currently pending in the house and Senate.
