I am almost hesitant to be excited!!!! I have been waiting for almost 18 years
The above post by Patricia Perry expresses how I feel
"Thank you for educating our legislators. If passed all the way, Florida Will join the nation's efforts in updating our health care system. well"
What an exciting time to become an NP. Thank you for paving the way !
Great News. Thanks to everyone for your diligence and hard work
Who do we write to to help with the next step?
It is wonderful how far you have gotten with this legislature. What can we do to help push it forward.
I am excited, I have been a Licensed ARNP in Florida since 1994, but have been working in Tennessee and Kentucky where practice was not so restrictive. If this truly means we can prescribe, have an independent practice, will we be required to have physician oversight for controlled substance Sch 2-5, percentage of charts to be reviewed and signed off? Oversight can be costly. I will be be watching for details and would love to return to Florida to practice as a NP with a DNP in Palliative Care.
